Privacy Policy — MediDaily Medicine Manager

Effective date: 15 September 2026

App: MediDaily Medicine Manager (Android package com.app.mediary)

Developer: [YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS NAME]

Contact: wasiqkhan336@gmail.com

MediDaily helps you and your family remember to take medicines on time and to refill them before they run out. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is kept, and what control you have over it.

The short version: the health information you enter stays on your phone. MediDaily has no account system and no servers of its own, so the developer never receives your data. The app does show ads, and the ad provider may collect limited technical information (such as an advertising identifier) to display them.

1. Information the app stores

All of the following is entered by you and stored only in the app's private storage on your device:

MediDaily itself does not collect your location or contacts and does not ask for an email address or phone number. To display ads, the third-party advertising service may access an advertising identifier and basic device information, as described in Section 8.

2. How the information is used

Only to provide the app's features on your device: scheduling reminders, counting down stock, showing adherence history, and displaying your records back to you. Your health records are never sold. To show ads, the app includes a third-party advertising service that may collect limited technical data (such as an advertising identifier and device information) as described in Section 8; this is separate from the health information you enter, which is never used for advertising.

3. Where the information is kept, and whether it leaves your phone

4. Permissions the app asks for, and why

Permission Why MediDaily needs it
Notifications To show dose reminders and refill warnings.
Alarms & reminders / exact alarms So a reminder fires at the exact minute a dose is due rather than "sometime later". This is the app's core purpose.
Full-screen notifications So a due-dose alert can appear over the lock screen, like an alarm clock.
Run at startup To re-create your reminders after the phone restarts (Android clears alarms on reboot).
Ignore battery optimisation (requested, optional) To stop the phone from putting the app to sleep and silently delaying reminders.
Camera (optional) Only when you choose to photograph a pill, prescription or document. Photos are stored privately on the device.
Photos / media picker (optional) Only when you choose an existing image from your phone.
Biometrics / screen lock (optional) If you turn on "Lock the app", Android's own fingerprint or screen-lock prompt is used. MediDaily never sees or stores your fingerprint, PIN or pattern.

Permissions marked optional can be declined; the related feature simply will not be available.

5. Your control over the data

6. Children

MediDaily is intended for adults managing their own medicines or those of family members. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. A caregiver may record a child's medicines in a profile; that information stays on the caregiver's device under this policy.

7. Health information and medical disclaimer

The information you enter about medicines, doses and vitals is health information. It is handled as described above and never shared. MediDaily is a reminder and record-keeping tool; it does not provide medical advice, does not check for drug interactions or correct dosages, and is not a substitute for a doctor or pharmacist. Always follow the instructions of your healthcare professional.

8. Third-party services

MediDaily now includes a third-party advertising service so that ads can be shown in the app. This advertising service may collect and process limited technical information — such as an advertising identifier, general device and app information, and coarse usage or interaction data — in order to select and display ads and measure their performance. This data is handled by the ad provider under its own privacy policy, and the developer does not receive your health records through it. Aside from this advertising service, MediDaily uses standard Android and open-source libraries that run entirely on the device. Google Play itself may also collect installation and crash statistics under Google's own privacy policy.

9. Security

Data is stored in Android's app-private storage, which is isolated from other apps and protected by your device's lock screen. It is not separately encrypted by MediDaily; someone with full access to an unlocked or rooted device could reach it, which is why we recommend keeping a screen lock on and, optionally, enabling the app lock.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app gains features that change how data is handled — for example an optional cloud backup — this policy will be updated before those features ship, the effective date above will change, and the in-app version will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
